Salary: £7.50 - £8.50 per hour

We are recruiting for an Audio Typist to work in a small consultancy firm in Glasgow's West End on a temporary basis. The role is to start immediately so only candidates with no notice period need apply. We require someone with extensive audio typing experience and a typing speed of at least 65 wpm.

Job Description

You will be working as part of a small team and reporting to the Managing Director of the company. The hours of work will be 8.30 to 5.30 Monday to Friday.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • As an Audio Typist the role will involve extensive digital dictation as well as using tapes.
  • You will also be responsible for minute taking and preparing and collating board papers.
  • This role may also involve copy typing, dealing with customer queries by telephone or e-mail and general ad-hoc administration duties.

Requirements

  • Typing rate of 65 wpm.
  • Immediate start.
  • Have experience of working in a secretarial / clerical environment.
  • Good PC skills (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
