We are currently recruiting for a Senior Audio Typist to work in a busy sales office based in Christchurch, Dorset. The hours of work will be 8.15 to 5.00 Monday to Friday, including an hour for lunch. You will need to have experience in Audio and Copy typing as well as a good knowledge of working with Microsoft Excel.

Job Description

As a Senior Audio Typist, you will be responsible for managing the typist team. This will involve assigning work as appropriate, and other managerial duties. As an Audio Typist the role will involve dictation as well as using tapes. It will also involve copy typing and general ad-hoc administration duties.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Audio transcription from tape and dictation.
  • Assigning work to the typist team.
  • Other managerial duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • To apply for this position, you must be able to type at a rate of 65 wpm and be used to a secretarial / clerical environment.
  • You should be competent with Microsoft Applications, namely Word and Excel.
  • You should have at least 3 years experience as an audio typist, and managerial experience would be beneficial.
  • Having good people skills is essential along with being an excellent time-keeper.
