A vacancy has become available to work as a Bilingual Secretary within one of the top companies in the UK chemical industry. Based in the City of London, this position requires fluency in Spanish as many of the customers you will be dealing with are Spanish-speaking.

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

This is a varied role, and will include the following duties:

  • Providing general assistance to the Directors and Managers
  • Translating documents
  • Arranging hotels and travelling
  • Preparing travelling expense report
  • Meeting and greeting visitors
  • Answering the phone
  • Keeping Corporate Agenda updated
  • Updating staff movements and holidays planner
  • Organising meetings and Seminars
  • Managing stationary/office supplies
  • Managing office service suppliers
  • Preparing / Receiving / Sending correspondence
  • Maintaining corporate files (clients, suppliers, internal memo, 5S, etc)
  • Archiving
  • Collecting visas and documents in London
  • Other administrative activities as required by the Company

You may also be required to travel to Latin America, in particular Argentina, Chile and Venezuela.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexible
  • Helpful
  • Fluent Spanish
  • Degree educated would be a plus;
  • High attention to detail;
  • Good Microsoft Office skills.
