A vacancy has been made available to join a Financial Firm in Bromsgrove who are looking to take on a Junior Secretary due to expansion in the administration team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain skills and experience in an office role.
Job Description
You will be joining an established administration team, and will be directly supporting the Senior Secretary. You will be required to assist in a wide range of secretarial duties, and will have the opportunity to take advantage of comprehensive on-the-job training, with a view to promotion into an Office Support role.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Providing general support to department secretaries
- Opening and sorting post for team
- Answering telephone calls and taking messages
- Typing dictated letters, reports etc
- Providing some secretarial support to accountants, including diarising meetings, booking meeting rooms.
- General administration and ad hoc duties
- Photocopying / binding reports
- Updating databases
Requirements
The successful candidate will be looking to work for a professional company and must be suited to a corporate environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential as well as being highly motivated and career focused with the ability to work in a busy and often pressured environment.
- Secretarial qualification such as RSA or equivalent
- Some office experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels
- Highly motivated and able to work in a busy environment
