Our client, a leading city-based Underwriters, have an immediate requirement for a flexible Office Manager to work on a temporary 5 month contract. You will join an established Office Services team, and will be responsible for a total of six members of staff. Flexible hours are available, although you will be required to work a 35 hour week, covering the core hours of 9am-4pm.
Job Description
Duties and Responsibilities
This job requires the successful candidate to undertake a range of duties, including:
- Managing diaries
- Organise meetings and travel
- Act as a gatekeeper for incoming calls
- Audio typing of correspondence and reports
- Preparing board packs
- Maintaining holiday and sickness records
- Preparing employment contracts/letters for new starters.
You will also be required to attend monthly tenants meetings and manage suppliers.
Requirements
This is a 5 month maternity cover so commitment is essential as is a can do professional, flexible approach. In addition, you will need to have proven audio and admin skills, be able to commit to a 5 month assignment and have a flexible and professional approach. Strong communication skills are also a must.
