Our client, based in Hamstead Heath, North London, is a large EMIS surgery with professional, friendly staff. They are within walking distance of both tube line and over ground services. Due to expansion they are now seeking an experienced Senior Medical Secretary to join their team.

Job Description

If you are a supreme typist who is proactive in the work place, looking for the next step and for stability along with the chance to progress into more of a management role, this is the job for you.

Duties and Responsibilities

You will be dealing with patients, administration, phone work and PA work for the Practice Manager. You need to be able to think outside the box and be both adaptable and flexible with the right attitude towards the role.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have worked within a Medical environment previously
  • Have used EMIS and Choose and Book.
  • Have excellent typing and communication skills
  • Have strong all round administrative skills
  • Follow the job through and be happy to multi task
  • Have a good understanding of Medical Terminology
  • Be punctual

This is an immediate start for the right candidate.
